  • Computerized RPTA, installed and implemented in 2001, consisting of –
    • Amellar RPTA including software licenses.
    • Database construction, which includes the build-up, cleansing, and reconciliation of digital records at the CAO and CTO’s Land Tax Section.
    • Hardware and LAN. IBM Server, IBM workstations, OKI printers, and 12-node temporary and permanent structured network.
    • Training and technical support.
  • Computerized BPLS, installed and implemented in 2002, consisting of –
    • Amellar BPLS including software licenses.
    • Database construction, which includes the build-up, cleansing, and reconciliation of digital records at the CTO’s Licensing Section.
    • Hardware and LAN. IBM Server upgrade, IBM workstations, OKI printers, and 6-node temporary and permanent structured network.
    • Training and technical support.
Major Accomplishments
  • Helped in increasing real property collections by as much as 54.7%, from Php21.6 to Php33.5 million, in the first of implementing the RPTA system. In second year, actual RPT collections increased by 115%, from Php33.5 to Php71.9 million.
  • Identified tax delinquencies amounting to more than PhP105 Million as of 15 June 2001.
  • Sorted out duplicate or erroneous records maintained in the manual system.
  • Identified existing businesses that have neither renewed their permits nor applied for retirement.
