Products and Services
- Computerized revenue generating system, installed and implemented in 2001 and 2002, consisting of –
- Software applications as follows:
- Amellar RPTA.
- Amellar BPLS.
- Amellar Civil Registry System (CRS).
- Amellar Miscellaneous Revenues System (MRS).
- Database construction, which includes the build-up, cleansing, and reconciliation of digital records of the CAO, BPLO, and CTO.
- IBM server and upgrade, IBM professional workstation, PC workstation, Canon document scanner, and 24-node temporary and permanent structured network.
- Training and technical support.
Major Accomplishments
- Enabled the City to increase actual real property tax collections by more than Php350 million in 2003.
- Identified tax delinquencies amounting to more than PhP4.75 billion, almost 90% of which is owed by corporate or non-resident property owners, as of mid-2002.
- Identified existing businesses that have neither renewed their permits nor applied for retirement.
- Sorted out duplicate or erroneous records maintained in the manual system.
- Improved the billing and collection process by promoting transparency, fairness and uniformity in assessment and payment of taxes, fees, and other charges.
