Amellar delivered the enhanced and expanded Training Module for System Administrators from Oct 24-26, 2007, at the Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast Conference Area for participants from the Province of Aklan, Municipalities of New Washington, Malay, Aparri, and Nasugbu. The module consisted of lectures, presentations, and hands-on exercises on topics designed to equip System Administrators with both hard skills and soft skills needed to make them more effective and efficient in their new assignments. As part of the Manila GIS Project (MGISP), Amellar’s finest developers assembled for the Business Mapping training held at the Mabuhay Office in Manila cityhall last 5th to 7th of September 2007. The said training was attended by the officials and staff from the different departments and offices of Manila local government.

The first two days of the training was mainly spend for proper map printing procedures, this has to be concise and error free from the very details of building ID, landmarks to road names. Map printout is one of the main visual tools used by the field surveyors for business surveys. The trainees were oriented on principles of the GIS technology to the application introduction of Business Mapping application. Hands-on training was carefully supervised from handling the actual printer and map orientation management.

The next batches of trainees are the field surveyors. Their main task is to discover every existing business within their area of responsibility and to plot it on the map to tie-up the location of the business with its database records. Surveyors’ training lasted a day which consists of map readings and record gathering of business such as business identification number (BIN), business license issued by the city, category of business.

The trainer team was headed by Mr. Allan Javier with Mr. Rogelio Betito, Ms. Rachel Calixto and Mr. Godfrey Edra of Amellar Solutions.



Amellar recently conducted the Preterminal Report presentation for Aparri’s Real Property Tax Administration (RPTA) held at the Sanggunian Bayan Hall of Aparri last August 30, 2007. Read more »



From September 26 to October 9, 2007, District Officers from the City Government of Davao underwent a 10-day intensive training on Local Taxation Principles, Planning and Implementing E-Government, Customer Service and Change Management, RPTA system usage, Information Analysis, and Strategic Planning. On September 10-14 and 17-21, the 2nd and 3rd batch of end-users were trained on the Amellar for RPTA system. Amellar and Davao Trainers facilitated the rigorous training on Basic Computer Skills, on the RPTA System, and on Records Deficiency. On the last day of the training, they were grouped into 8-9 groups, each group composed of personnels from the Assessor’s and Treasurer’s Office. Read more »



The RPTA Training for the 1st batch of end-users was successfully done from Sept 3-7, 2007. This five-day training was conducted by Amellar Solutions Trainers in partnership with Davao City Trainers. Simultaneous trainings were held for participants from the Assessor and Treasurer’s Office on the various modules of the RPTA system. Read more »



In response to the needs of its clients, Amellar Solutions introduced for the first time in all its RPTA Project implementation a special “Training for Trainers”. This is in lieu of the creation of the “Trainor’s Group”, one of four (4) groups organized within the City Government of Davao at the onset of the project implementation. Read more »
