On July 21, 2008, Tagaytay City launched its upgraded RPTA and BPLS Systems along with the new Miscellaneous Revenues System (MRS). A formal launching ceremony was held during the City Government’s flag ceremony which was witnessed by Tagaytay City officials and staff, Tagaytay residents, and Amellar Solutions.

The Upgrade involved the conversion of the RPTA-CLI version to RPTA-GUI version and the migration of the RPTA and BPLS from Informix to Oracle, the world’s leading database management system.

The launching was a culmination of the Tagaytay Revenue Systems Upgrade and Migration Project which started with a Kick-Off Conference on June 11, 2008 and followed by several System Studies, Focused Group Discussions with project stakeholders, and End-Users’ Training.
Amellar will continue to provide technical support to Tagaytay for one year, from August 4, 2008-August 4, 2009.
