The Strategic Planning Conference was a venue for Provincial and Municipal Planners who are part of the Aklan Revenue Generation Computerization Project (ARGCP) to create their custom-tailored Strategic Plans to improve their Revenue Collection. To achieve this goal, participants undertook Internal Assessment and Environment Analysis through a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis, Goal-setting, and preparation of Strategic Plan.
The activity was attended by a total of 46 participants coming from the Provincial Accounting Office, Provincial Assessor’s Office, Municipal Assessor’s Office, and Municipal Treasurer’s Office. The Provincial Government of Aklan fielded a total of 22 participants, the Municipality of Kalibo, 7 participants, Malay, 8, and New Washington, 9 participants.
The two-day activity was opened by Mr. Jess Marquez, Executive Assistant, Provincial Governor’s Office.
Arlene Gella acted as the main lecturer, while Allan Javier presented the Delinquency Profile of the Municipalities of Kalibo, Malay, New Washington. Tricia Oriel, Rachel Calixto, Frances Munar facilitated the group discussions.
Special awards were given for Best SWOT, Best Goals, Best Strategic Plan, Best Group, Best Participant.
Governor Carlito S. Marquez closed the event with an inspirational talk and also awarded the Special Awards and the Certificates of Participation.
