Inception Report – Municipality of Aparri

The Inception Report for the Municipality of Aparri Revenue Computerization Project (MARCP) and abgis (ABMP) was held last March 5, 2007 at Aparri’s Sanguniang Bayan, Session Hall. Engr. Rolando A. Liberato, Municipal Engr, lead the Invocation. The Municipal Mayor Ismael V. Tumaru, MD gave an introductory speech; he stresses the vital role of all the participants in the computerization project. Among the participants are Vice Mayor Norman N. Ignacio, Mr. Julius R. Catral, HRMO/Municipal Assessor, Mr. Romarico Panaga, Municipal Treasurer and Members of the Sanguniang Bayan, Department Heads and Staff of the Municipality.

Cristy P. Palma, Production Manager of Amellar Solutions, presented the Inception Report covering MARCP and ABMP- Systems Overview, related preliminary system studies, findings and project status. She also discussed the Task and responsibilities of Municipality of Aparri and Amellar, to work hand in hand for the success of the project.

Mr. Edison Q. Garcia, Engr. Dominique V. Merced of Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office and Engr. Marvin V. Danao of Assessor’s Office participant of abGIS Training held last February 21-23 in Quezon City for Aparri Base Mapping Project (ABMP) presented the abGIS –Amellar Basic Geographic Information System.

Thereafter, the awarding of Certificate to the abGIS Training participant, followed by the turn-over of the Inception Report by Cristy P. Palma to Mayor Ismael V. Tumaru.

Ms. Norma F. Ragonjan, Municipal Planning & Development Coordinator closes the activity with her closing speech. She stresses the importance of Computerization Project for the Municipality of Aparri.
